Carboxitherapy

Carboxitherapy - therapy with carbon gas eliminates excesses and it helps to improve the skin.

Applied in the clinics of the European Community's countries and approved by FDA (Food and Drug Administration), the therapy with medicinal carbon gas is the great innovation of the moment. It is indicated for the treatment of the cellulite, in the pre and post operative periods of liposuction, in the treatment of the cutaneous flabbiness and in other several pathologies. In Turkey, the doctors await the authorization of Turkish Health Ministry.

Known as carboxitherapy, the method was presented in the Annual "Meeting of Aesthetic Procedures", on the last weekend  in İstanbul.The treatment consists of the subcutaneous application of the carbon anhydrous, soon below the derma, inducing the vasodilatation with consequent increase of the sanguine flow and oxygenation of the fabrics. In other words, the carbon gas (CO²) it is infiltrated in the subcutaneous fabric through a needle of fine caliber, to improve the sanguine contribution and oxygenation of the fabrics.

Medicinal CO² is a non toxic gas, thoroughly used in medicine and exempt of side effects. Depending on the treatment, they are necessary, on average, 12 sessions divided in 2 times per week.

The applications should just be made by doctors. "The effects can be noticed starting from the sixth application. The skin has an improvement in the aspect and there is a reduction of some inches in the measures".

It is not necessary to rest, the patient can return to their activities to the end of each session
